one word.
TIREDgotta warn that this post might be abit long so if ure in a hurry read it some other time =)
school was a bore. YES AGAIN.
POA was not bad la.. must say.
cause learn new thing.
afterwards went to the MRT to meet trud.
to buy $30 worth of items.
her super belated present u see.. tt time we had no time to go shopping.
so we decided to head down to marina sq to see wad to get there.
there, we mostly window-shopped and didn really buy anything.
(wait. we DIDN'T buy anything!)
trud was having a hard time rmbing who she went out with
trud: er.. was it u that i went out with tt time?
me: dunno.
trud: oh ya. not u. hahahaha
me: ...
haha everyone seems to be getting a case of short term memory
me too cause i kinda forgot i was supposed to get something.
and that the particular thing couldn be found in marina sq.
anyway trud was faced with her 1st challenge in shopping
to choose between a 19.90 bag and a 20.90 bag.
one dollar difference, the 19.90 bag was a LITTLE smaller.
trud pointed out that small bags are kinda better.
but in e end we didn get either of the bags,
choosing to proceed on rather than wasting too much time.
we pondered on the idea of going to kTv.
but we dropped the idea too.
after walking the whole of marina sq (YES I MEAN THE WHOLE PLACE), we decided to head to suntec for more shopping.
apparently we found nothing nice there. so we loitered around carrefour to get some sushi.
CAN U BELIEVE WE ACTUALLY HAD DIFFICULTY IN FINDING THE ESCALATOR DOWN FROM THE 2ND FLOOR?!
well. believe it.
look like we too long nv go suntec liao >.<
got the sushi and headed out of suntec.
we went to wait for the feeder bus that brings us to the train station after deciding to head down to bugis.
and gawd WAS THE WAIT LONG!
no im serious.
and what's more, the bluddy bus was freaking packed so we had to SQUEEZE our way in.
the train to bugis was no better.
but as trud predicted, most ppl alighted in bugis so we could alight smoothly
in bugis, we shopped arnd for a while
trud wanted to get a watch
and that was exactily wad we did.
spending $10 bucks on her watch. ($20 more trud!!)
it was not bad la.. no really.. for ten bucks it's actually quite a bagain!
next we proceeded to zinc, and was greeted with 101 types of bags.
trud found a bag similar to the 19.90 bag we saw in marina.
true enuff, it was also valued 19.90
but the bigger version was 22.90 ($2 more than e one at marina)
trud expressed her desire to get a new wallet even though she has one new one alr. (present from jacq for b'dae)
she also wanted to get some slippers.
by that time, i can say that my legs were about to BREAK.
how shopping can cure a gals tiredness man.
she remembered about a california fitness offer paying $20 for 6wks
wow i couldn believe it.
so i enquired lor.
they were so kind to give us a tour of the gym.
we had a real tough time finding the place, going to raffles hospital(?!)
and finally realising that the bluddy office tower was right where we 1st started
gotta say the facilities there is real good.
and before we knew it, it was deciding time..
for 1st visitors like us, we had to pay absolutely nothing for the starting fee. which was $272 (i think)
but we had no cash on hand.
and we didn even ask our parents about it.
C.FITNESS!! HOW COULD YOU GUYS DO THIS TO US?!?!?!?!so we had to sadly leave the place, knowing if we wanna come back to enroll we gotta pay more. (about 100% more. no kidding.)
trying to put on a smile to lift our spirits, my mood was rather torn when i saw tt disappointed look worn on truddy's face.
but it proved shopping not only cures tiredness, it also cures moodyness.
in no time, we were back happily shopping.
trud decided to save her $20 for another trip for shopping.
worn out, we both proceeded home.
wow wad a day. im totally shacked out.
and im going to sleep.
