this time an epic one

the ancient ones
emerge and run,
in chaos' full eruption.
an evil band
in every land,
delighting in destruction.

what seems shapless,
formless and faceless
their great one is releasing.
so to enslave
both God and knave,
their sorrows thus increasing.

who is the man
to stay the land
of those he Gods cant better?
and yet a hero yet
takes the bet
to break the evil's fetter.

three lights of hope
to help him cope
one south, in sand and wonder.
one to the east
defeat the beast,
and tear their plan asunder.

the final light
will make the figh
where he must face his fears.
a door agar
he travels far
and yet, finds it near...

gonna update about saturday's pool trip after CTs.. haha sry

anyway today was a damn suay day la.. after phy chem test (which was kinda screwed), me, js, hs, joice, xj and amin went to koufu to eat and do our reports.. than we realised the reports could be handed up on friday =.=

then, pissed off as we were liao, we decided to still hand in the reports today and just get done with it. so we proceded to the photocopying shoppe to photocopy our graphs.

that's where i realised my fucking report has gone missing. it couldn be at the table which we sat on @ koufu cause before leaving i checked if there was anything missing. and there wasnt.

knn than call ong chee ming he dun really believe wad i say. also dun blame him la.. where got student come out with such a lame excuse de. unless it's real, duh.

ok than nvm. go library study awhile than go home.

on the train home there was this two old men behind me talking damn loudly. so okay lor. put on mp3 and hear. than at tiong they wanna alight. cause one of the old men was pushing a trolley with lots of stuff on, i siam-ed lor. give them space to move. but jus nice when i siam than accidently hit onto the other old man. knn than he see me like not happy likedat.

wad i do wrong sia. give space for the trolley to move than u to dao me. might as well dun give a shit about u two old fucks la?!

after u all complain to straits times say youths this days are getting rude again. fuck off man. do this cannot, do that cannot. u might as well go die better la. dun need to get angry with ppl anymore. stupid old men.. ruin my mood.

im gona sleep liao. tml inorganic chem. confirm fail also. haha the last of my sub that im gonna fail.

ive jus realised that i have not been talking to my parents much lately and i dun really feel comfortable about it.

it's like.. since the start of the holidays ive been going out from morning till night. when i go out, they have gone to work and when i come back they are sound asleep. the only time i get to talk to my mum is this:

*phone rings*
"hello?"

"ben ah.. u coming back for dinner not?"

"erm.. dun think so la.."

"okay take care. God bless."

"kk bye"
*puts down phone*

im getting the feeling that somehow im drifting away from my parents and i don't like it.

wadever it is, they're still family and deserves my time spent so ive made up my mind to try my very best to come back for dinner and stuff the following week.

Mircobio test today. Argh.. had alot of qstns im not too sure if is this or that..
wouldn be surprised if i failed.

it's kinda sucky la. this 2 weeks holiday is more or less a two week self study time. given that the CTs are right after this.

just realised that ive jus went the whole week (fine, the weekdays) with only ten bucks in my wallet. of course, other than the swashing of my atm card for one or two times when eating. to me i can consider it a real good achievement.

saw many things which i COULD have bought this week. considered begging for money on the streets but.....

he threatened to stab me with his light saber if i snatched his place =(

next week i'd be getting allowance... muahahahahhaha money money money... bag, shirt and tie... HERE I COME =D

many ppl base their 1st impressions on purely who's pretty or handsome. to judge someone by their looks and not by their character, some would say it's rather shallow.

which brings me to the proverb "Don't judge a book by it's cover."

But you're not a book!

Let's say you're in a bookstore, looking for a book to read. What are the processes we go by in selection a book?

First is the cover, which can be compared to one's outer-appearance. If this person looks good, I'll go after him, like, duh.

Next is recommendations. Look at the book and sometimes they'll quote some magazine saying how this is "The Best Book EVA!!", or "The coming of the next LOTR", or something along the lines, which is again, very much like real life. You're judged, not on just the "cover", but on how others see you as well. Get good appraisals, and half the battle's won. For example, the shortest way to a girl's heart, is by making friends with her friends so that they can put in a good word for you: as one of my guys put it, "Keep your girlfriend close, keep her friends closer,"

Last is your "category", and how high up you are in it. Know how books have genres? "Sci-fi" lah, "Fantasy" lah, "Erotica" lah, "Chic Lit" lah, and all that? We, as people, are stuck in our own genre as well; the cliques, or people we hang out, and associate with speak volumes about us. And people have their preferred genres too, so watch where you place yourself on the shelf. Go and be a "best-seller", if possible.

So anyways...yeah...you're like a book, in many ways. And that's kinda unfair, no? The way you're judged based on things you can't really control MUCH.

BUT YOU'RE NOT A BOOK!

Open up! Be heard! Screw the cover of a book; I've seen gajillion books with butt-ugly covers (Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone, UK EDITION, BLEGH!), but their contents were amazing. The thing about books is they can't open themselves up, they can't scream out what's inside...BUT YOU CAN!

My point is: Don't be a book. Open up. Be heard.

Your pages speak volume, but unless you force people to read you, nobody's going to give a flying-damn

yesterday was kinda fun la.. haha.. supposedly we were supposed to give shipei her b'dae present.. and well.. JS got the honors to do it (again).

i'll try to get e pics from peilih on the step-by-step expressions when she got it and would try to update them asap.

after giving, we decided that the maths lecture was not worth listening to and thus me, js, vanessa, siew may, qiu miao and lihui stayed at the back to slack around.. mr maths lecturer got pissed that ppl were making too much noise and stormed off.

the whole situation got really chaotic (but fun in a way ba..) kinda reminded me of sec 2 life.. haha. very paiseh at 1st la.. suddenly everyone asking me to pose all e 5 连拍.. dun dare! =p only when vanessa come than at least got a little 安心 la! duno wad i did until everyone starting laughing like mad.

perhaps when ppl want me to do smthing they should try taking away my lanyard 1st ^^

after tt pon-ed jap class to follow joice and xj to queensway. nothing much we saw there ba.. but quite a good way to kill time.. finally got to eat e curry chicken rice there again! wahh like.. after super long la.. lols.. xj was like chionging from shop to shop lor.. than was telling joice "wahh xj normally walk man tun tun de... when shopping she super fast la!"

afterwards their friend came i decided to go meet 2c'ers at vivo. perhaps due to the earlier picture taking, me and ky decided to go camwhoring.

okay! so i went to malaysia today with lim. jus a normal day trip there ba.. shopped quite abit. and bought: 1 shoe, 2 shirts, 2 pants and 7 PIRATED CDS!

k i know i shouldn be saying about the cds here but well~ who really cares ya?

omg dunkin' donuts really DO rock. tried one and was in heaven. so decided to get a box of 12 back to singapore (which i finished the next day, btw). damn.. there goes my evening run yesterday. aiya heck la.

forgot to bring camera over so no pics for today.

anyway there was this small scare over at the immigration checkpoint back to singapore.
my passport reader seemed to cock up and didn allow me to pass, so okay lor, go to manual stamping guy.

than jus nice the SYSTEM FREAKING HANG!

so proceeded BACK to the automatic gates, which let me through.

technology these days are getting really fucked up. just like msn la! forever getting cocked.
