okay! so i went to malaysia today with lim. jus a normal day trip there ba.. shopped quite abit. and bought: 1 shoe, 2 shirts, 2 pants and 7 PIRATED CDS!

omg dunkin' donuts really DO rock. tried one and was in heaven. so decided to get a box of 12 back to singapore (which i finished the next day, btw). damn.. there goes my evening run yesterday. aiya heck la.

anyway there was this small scare over at the immigration checkpoint back to singapore. my passport reader seemed to cock up and didn allow me to pass, so okay lor, go to manual stamping guy.

so proceeded BACK to the automatic gates, which let me through.

Everyone has goals in life. Be it to get that new car, to achieve fantastic grades or to even earn his 1st million bucks. Goals are set everyday by everyone. Grab someone who's walking on the street and chances are he has something in mind to do for the day.
Goals are not possibly long term. Say, u wake up and tell yourself that u're gonna accomplish something for the day. more or less that's considered one too.
What are dreams then?
Dreams are more or less unachievable goals in life. say, "i dream of flying" is theoretically possible if u get on an plane and take off. but still the thought cant be taken seriously, or we'd be seeing people jumping off buildings with their hands desperately flapping, possibly singing a rendition of "I believe i can fly" at the same time.
Sometimes, it's our dreams and goals that push us on. but sometimes, it's our goals and dreams that would ultimately kill us. it depends, really. as of from the movie, the prestige, obsession from a goal led to a character's downfall.
I'm pondering over this now, how the power of hopes and dreams are so strong in our everyday lives.
