The angel who lost her wings
Wings tattered and torn
She lies in the corner
Tired and worn
She breathes slow
Waiting for anybody
To save her
Any single body, anyone worthy
To rescue her
She's the angel who lost her wings
With no place to go
Walking on the streets
Would someone find her?
An angel she was long ago
And what a happy and blissful time
Happiness she now has to forgo
With emptyness in her heart
Mend her wings,
Mend her heart
Don't take her things
Don't take her away.
i heard that electricity prices have shot up once again thanks to the oil prices.
after much consideration i have finally came to a conclusion on how our government rules the country. smart actually... by giving a little bit first before taking a whole lot more from the people. sounds familar? there was a cash rebate of less than five hundred recently, and erp gantries started popping up here and there.
it's really sad to see my parents, and every other adult ranting about how this country is getting difficult to live in.
it's really scary to think how much would be a simple chicken rice cost you when you're grown up.
things can be different. why are the top leaders earning so much? by what they accomplish? nah. it's because they CONTROL everything... including their own salary. look how much george w bush is earning for being president and compare that to what our dear PM~ is earning. ouch. really hurts to see him proclaim that his salary justifies his work.
money money money... must be funny in a rich man's world.
looks like money is no longer funny in singapore.
:(
pardon this rant.
