lets have some fairytales.........

The Ugly Duckling

adaption by myself =)

In the lake of ducks in Notredame
Lived an ugly greyish one
From an unknown heritage she was
The other ducklings treated her as moss

Her fellow ducklings, Jack, Will, Kate, Jane
Poked fun at him constantly, reminding him of her name.
"The ugly duckling", she was called by them
Ugly he was. Ugly when life began.

The bullying continued every day
Bullying and name calling in every way.
Till one day Jack pecked it till it bled
Crying, the ugly ducking fled

Years in the pond past
And the ducks did not hear of it at last.
Duckling to duck they grew
And a generation had started anew.

Till one day a stranger came
"Your name please! Tell us your name!"
The stranger said not a word
Then spread her wings like a bird.

Unvealing a majestic looking one
One which Will recognised as a swan
"I'm the ugly ducking", said the one who had been,
"No you're not!" Jack said, "You're a queen!"

Staring at Jack with cold black eyes
The swan showed the scar to him, frozen as ice.
Shocked turned to regret for Jack
As he realised that she was indeed the one he called Black.

Then she flapped her wings and joined them in the pond
The very same pond Jack broke her bond
"Ugly duckling I am no more"
"But who are this ugly ducks? One, two, three, four?"

At that moment the four wished to hide
For in the swan, they saw pure white
Beauty was all they could see
As they snapped into reality.

Then with almost a singing voice the swan spoke
"Your words broke me, and tied me up like a rope"
"I thought I'd never see the sun"
"Thanks to you guys," looking at them one by one

People reading please understand
This story applies to many men
Watch what you say and do
For maybe one day, your words might just come haunt you.
