--ON THE 25TH STOREY--

On the 25th storey
Stood a young man with a sad story
On the ledge of the building
His eyes tearing, his heart burning.

He jumps off.

23 floors to the bottom,
He thinks about the trouble he had gotten
The stocks have crashed down
All his cash have drown.

He continues his desent down.
He sees the whole world.

Reaching the 17th storey
The young man wonders about his honey
What is Jessie gonna feel?
This is not any fictional story or reel.

The wind on his face.
The joy of flying.
The irony.

On the 10th floor
He almost sees heaven's door
A tinge of regret, he felt
Money's a situation he could have dealt.

The ground is fast approaching
Any talk of the afterlife
He's gonna experience what's gonna happen
First hand.

Flying down to five
Pictures flying past. Pictures of his life
So it's true
Your life really flashes past you when you're due

"Goodbye, good world"
He braises himself for impact
He closes his eyes.
And heard a dull thud
Silence.

A crowd gathers around
A young man, his soul heaven abound.
His smashed up face hidden
The emotion of regret written

Shouts of "Oh my God!"
A boy whips out his camera phone and snaps a picture
Aunties shaking their head in disbelief
Girls hugging their boyfriends in fear
Soon the police comes and clears the scene
And once again life goes on.

The young man wakes
A light shining on his face
Hark! The angels all in song
For a man who's life went so wrong.

And the young man felt peace finally.
He smiles as he walks into the glorious lights.
